泰山学者林天然简介

    林天然博士,泰山学者,青岛理工大学海外特聘教授,博士生导师。主要从事结构声学,振动噪音分析和控制,机械故障诊断及信号处理方面的研究。研究兴趣包括应用基础研究和工业应用研究两部分。应用基础研究主要从事1)大型复杂工程结构的振动噪音分析及控制,(2)振动噪音测量和实验技术研究,及(3)用有限元和边界元等数值模拟工具对大型复杂工程结构的振动和声辐射进行数值模拟和分析。在国际权威核心SCI期刊上(如Journal of Acoustical Society of America, Journal of Sound and Vibration Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing等)主要以第一和通信作者发表了一系列振动,声辐射,实验方法方面的科研论文。通过建立新的理论和实验模型,改善和增强人们对大型复杂工程结构振动和噪声特性和传播机理了解和认知,并首次揭示了实际复杂工程结构在制造和安装的微小误差可导致理论预测结果和实际系统响应的巨大偏差。近几年,通过参与澳大利亚政府牵头的工业合作应用研究项目逐渐把研究领域拓宽到包括柴油机等旋转机械在内的在线监测和故障诊断技术开发上。这方面的研究内容包括:(1)旋转机械的监控和故障诊断技术,(2)瞬时角速度和瞬时功率输出测量技术及其在柴油机实时监控方面的应用,(3)声发射技术及其在大型低速旋转机械监控的应用,(4)故障信号处理技术,及(5)工业应用软件开发。首次提出了包括实时采样减频法(Peak Hold Down Sample)技术,声发射信号线性化(Acoustic Emission Signal Linearization),柴油机声发射信号分离法(Semi-Blind Source Separation)等多个信号处理新方法,解决了机械监控中经常遇到的一些难题。开发了两个具有独特算法模块,针对柴油机,低转速旋转机械特有信号特征的实时监控软件,并在国际权威SCI期刊上(如Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Reliability Engineering and System Safety等)发表了多篇学术论文。

    过去5年累计发表科研论文二十七篇,其中SCI期刊论文12篇,其他期刊论文和国际会议论文15篇,合作撰写并由国际著名科学出版社Elsevier下属分社Gulf Professional Publishing 出版英文专著一部。辅助编辑了多部国际会议论文集。并在多个国际学术会议担任会议组委会和论文评审委员会委员、分会场主席、特邀主讲等。同时担任国际工程资产研究院会士,澳大利亚工程师协会会员,澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学访问研究员等学术兼职。

Bio – Tian Ran Lin

Dr Tian Ran Lin is currently a ‘Taishan Scholar’ distinguished professor in Mechanical Engineering at Qingdao University of Technology, China. Dr Lin acquired his PhD degree from School of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering at the University of Western Australia in 2006. He then moved to work at Queensland University of Technology, Australia from April 2007 and stayed there until he relocated to Qingdao in 2015.

Professor Lin published regularly in leading international journals in his areas of expertise including the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, Journal of Sound and Vibration, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing etc. He has authored/co-authored 27 full refereed research papers and a scientific book in the last five years (since 2011). He is invited regularly to review papers for more than 20 international (SCI) journals including the leading journals in the field, and review books, book proposals for Elsevier and Springer.
